How to Unhide Hidden Folder or empty flash drive on windows

Hi guys,

I don’t know if this has happened to you, but recently I’ve had people (users) coming to me with their flash drives/disks saying they can’t see their files and folders they had saved and they’re sure those files and folders are in there because the flash shows it has some used up space.

It’s kinda puzzling I know but, it’s all caused by a computer virus from am infected computer.

So today am gonna show you how to fix that problem in a few easy steps.

1. On your keyboard, hold down Windows key (windows key) + R

“Run” will be opened.

2. Type “cmd” and click on OK.

“Command Prompt” will be opened.

3. Here I assume your flash drive/disk letter as G:

Now enter the below command.

attrib -h -r -s /s /d g:\*.*

[You can copy the above command –> Right-click in the Command Prompt and

paste it.]

Note : Don’t forget to replace the letter g with your flash drive/disk letter.

3. Now press “Enter”.

Now check for your files and folders in the flash drive/disk.

Good Luck and remember to have a working antivirus installed in your computer.
